Franklin County Historical Society

The Franklin County Missouri Historical Society appreciates heirlooms, archives, and photographs from Franklin County.  If a loved one has passed away and you have something they would like to have donated, please review The criteria used to accept these items are as follows:

1.  The items must be relevant to Franklin County Missouri.

2. FCHS has the ability to store and protect of the items under conditions that ensure their availability for museum and research.

3. Any documentation or proof of item being connected to Franklin County is included.

4. All legal aspects of acquisition must be considered. Some weapons cannot be donated if considered live. Family memebers are in agreement.

5. You may also loan items of historical importance to the museum.

All donations, material or monetary will receive a gift letter for tax purposes. Please consult your tax adviser regarding tax law. For more information, please send an email with item specifics and photos, if possible to franklincountyhistorical@gmail.com
